Product Basic Information

Full Name: GHK-Cu (Glycyl-Histidyl-Lysine Copper, Copper Peptide)

Essence: Natural tripeptide chelated copper ion complex

Form: Sterile polypeptide lyophilized powder, individually packaged in vials

Uses: An in vitro research reagent for skin anti-aging, collagen regeneration, wound healing, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects, and connective tissue maintenance.

II. Mechanism of Action

Collagen Regulation: Stimulates fibroblasts to synthesize type I/III collagen and elastin, while inhibiting matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) from breaking down collagen, thus thickening dermal connective tissue.

Antioxidant and Free Radical Scavenging: Increases SOD and glutathione activity, reduces oxidative stress damage to skin cells, and delays cell aging.

Anti-inflammatory and Soothing: Downregulates inflammatory factors such as TNF-α and IL-6, reducing epidermal redness and chronic mild inflammation.

Angiogenesis: Mildly promotes microvascular endothelial cell proliferation, improves tissue microcirculation, and accelerates wound nutrient supply.

Copper Ion Synergy: Copper is a core cofactor for many enzymes, participating in skin repair, pigment metabolism, and the construction of the stratum corneum barrier.

III. Core Scientific Efficacy

* Skin Anti-aging and Firming: Suitable for in vitro models of wrinkles, skin laxity, and photoaging, improving skin elasticity.

* Wound and Scar Repair: Promotes wound epithelialization, reduces pathological collagen accumulation, and fades hypertrophic scars.

* Barrier Repair: Improves dryness and damaged stratum corneum, suitable for sensitive skin and post-cosmetic surgery repair experiments.

* Hair Research: Stimulates hair follicle matrix cell activity, used in controlled experiments on hair loss and the mechanisms of hair follicle aging.

Combined Experimental Applications: Can be combined with TB-500, BPC-157, KPV, and Snap-8 to construct a combined repair + anti-aging + anti-inflammatory model.

IV. Reconstitution and Storage Specifications

Reconstitution Solvent: Sterile water for injection, a 0.6% aqueous acetic acid solution, and cosmetic-grade deionized water are all acceptable.

Storage Requirements

Unopened lyophilized powder: Store at 2–8°C, protected from light and kept sealed. Freezing is strictly prohibited.

Reconstituted liquid: Store at 4℃, protected from light.
