Product Basic Information

Full Name: GHRP-6 Acetate

Classification: Synthetic growth hormone secretagogue (GHS-R receptor agonist)

Form: White sterile lyophilized polypeptide powder, individually packaged in vials

Research Applications: Pituitary growth hormone secretion, appetite regulation, lipid metabolism, muscle synthesis, aging endocrine function, gastrointestinal function-related cell/animal experimental reagents

II. Mechanism of Action

Pituitary GH Release Regulation

Binding to the pituitary GHS-R1a receptor, it strongly stimulates pulsatile growth hormone secretion, increasing plasma GH and downstream IGF-1 levels, with a higher potency than GHRP-2.

Central Appetite Regulation

Mimicking endogenous ghrelin, it acts on the arcuate nucleus of the hypothalamus, significantly enhancing hunger, promoting food intake, and increasing calorie intake. It is commonly used in appetite reduction models.

Lipolysis and Anabolism Pathways

Activating adipose tissue lipases through the GH/IGF-1 pathway, accelerating visceral fat breakdown; simultaneously activating the mTOR pathway to promote myoprotein synthesis and inhibit muscle degradation.

Gastrointestinal Regulation: Promotes gastric motility and stimulates the secretion of gastric acid and pepsin, making it suitable for experiments related to gastrointestinal mucosal repair and digestive function impairment.

Mild Cortisol and Prolactin Release: Unlike Ipamorelin, GHRP-6 slightly increases cortisol and prolactin levels, making it suitable for comparative experiments comparing the endocrine side effects of different GH-promoting peptides.

III. Core Scientific Efficacy:

Endocrine GH Secretion Model: Studies pituitary function, growth and development, and the mechanisms of aging and anabolistic metabolic decline;

Metabolic Fat Loss and Muscle Gain Experiments: In vitro models of obesity, senile sarcopenia, and postoperative weight loss;

Appetite and Digestive Function Studies: Intervention experiments on anorexia, appetite suppression after radiotherapy and chemotherapy, and gastrointestinal motility disorders;

Tissue Repair Combination: Combined with MGF, TB-500, and BPC-157 to explore the synergistic effects of anabolic hormones on muscle and wound healing;

Peptide Comparison Experiments: Often combined with GHRP-2, Ipamorelin, and CJC-1295 to compare GH-promoting efficiency and differences in endocrine side effects.

IV. Reconstitution and Storage Specifications

Reconstitution Solvents: Gently dissolve in 0.6% acetic acid aqueous solution, sterile water for injection, or physiological saline. Vigorous shaking is prohibited.

Storage Requirements

Unopened dry powder: Refrigerate at 2-8℃, protected from light. For long-term storage, -20℃ is recommended.

Reconstituted liquid: Store at 4℃, protected from light.
