Glutathione 10vials/box
Product Basic Information
Full Name: Glutathione (Reduced Glutathione GSH; Oxidized Glutathione GSH)
Category: Tripeptide small molecule antioxidant, composed of glutamic acid, cysteine, and glycine.
Form: White sterile lyophilized powder, highly water-soluble.
Applicable Research Directions: Cellular antioxidation, liver damage protection, skin melanin regulation, immune cell homeostasis, oxidative stress damage, in vitro cell experimental reagent for detoxification pathways.
II. Mechanism of Action
Core Endogenous Antioxidant System
Intramolecular sulfhydryl groups (-SH) neutralize reactive oxygen species (ROS) and free radicals, scavenge hydrogen peroxide and lipid peroxides, and reduce cellular oxidative damage; simultaneously regenerate vitamin C and vitamin E, maintaining the cellular antioxidant cycle.
Key Substrate in Liver Detoxification Pathway
Participates in liver II binding detoxification reactions, binding heavy metals, drug metabolic toxins, and carcinogens and excreting them from the body, reducing hepatocellular toxicity.
Melanin Metabolism Regulation
Inhibits tyrosinase activity, blocks the melanin synthesis pathway, and reduces melanin deposition in melanocytes.
Immune Cell Protection: Maintains the antioxidant homeostasis of lymphocytes and macrophages, reduces oxidative-induced immune cell apoptosis, and ensures immune cell proliferation and cytokine secretion.
Apoptosis Inhibition: Downregulates the expression of pro-apoptotic proteins mediated by oxidative stress, alleviating cell necrosis caused by drugs, radiation, and inflammation.
III. Core Scientific Research Efficacy:
Liver Injury Model Research: Drug-induced liver injury, fatty liver, heavy metal hepatotoxicity, and liver oxidative stress protection experiments;
Antioxidative Aging Experiments: Skin photoaging, organ cell aging, and free radical damage intervention mechanisms;
Skin Whitening Barrier Research: Tyrosinase inhibition, pigmentation, and in vitro models of post-cosmetic surgery oxidative repair;
Cellular Protection Against Radiotherapy and Chemotherapy: Alleviates the large amount of ROS produced by radiation and chemotherapy drugs, reducing damage to normal cells;
Combined Treatment Regimens: Often combined with GHK-Cu, BPC-157, B12, and LC120 to construct a comprehensive research system of antioxidant + liver protection + repair.
IV. Reconstitution and Storage Specifications
Reconstitution Solvents: Sterile pure water, physiological saline, and 0.6% acetic acid aqueous solution are all soluble. Freshly prepared solution is best. Reduced glutathione is easily oxidized and inactivated by strong light and air.
Storage Requirements
Unopened dry powder: Store in a sealed container at 2-8℃, protected from light. For long-term storage, -20℃ is recommended.
Reconstituted liquid: Store at 4℃, protected from light.
